Hello. My name is Stacey Burton. I’m the founder of Summer Porches. I’m originally from the San Joaquin valley, but I was also raised in Marin county and San Jose. Here’s a little bit about myself. I have dogs and cats whom I love very much. I like to go on walks and hikes, especially since I live in such a beautiful town. It’s the beauty around me that inspires me to create.

I’ve always loved creating things and was always involved one way or another creating and selling. If it wasn’t Junior achievements in junior high, it was selling flowers for the proms in high school. I also had the blessing of helping out my Aunt Marilyn with her flower shop. Now it’s my turn to create beautiful things from the skills that everyone has taught me in my life.

Summer Porches gives me the opportunity to be in business for myself which gives me the greatest reward, making customers happy!  I love the one on one interaction. It allows me the opportunity to talk about the products, answer questions and hear feedback from each and every customer. My goals are to offer products that are American made, present a store worth visiting, support local artisans and craftsmen, and most importantly, give the customer something they will be proud to show in their homes or give as a gift.

I’m thrilled that my work has garnered widespread acclaim, making me a sought-after name in contemporary crafts. Collectors and interior design enthusiasts eagerly await my exhibitions and online releases, drawn to the enchanting beauty of my creations.

What I strive for in my pieces is a perfect balance of nostalgia and modernity. My new crafts are not only functional but also captivating decor that enriches any space. They embody a harmonious blend of history and innovation, showcasing my talent for bringing a touch of the past into the modern day with a fresh, elegant perspective.
